While all students are required to attend the school properly dressed, teachers themselves must set an example for their students by being properly dressed.
Teachers must follow the government regulation for dressing for work

3- During Ramazan
DEPENDANT VISA
All teachers are required to submit sponsorship declaration form before 48 hours prior to the dependents arrival to Maldives.
The form and necessary information will be available on Maldives Immigration website
Please note that Tourist Visa cannot be changed to dependent visa

4- Non-Islamic Practices
All teachers should refrain from performing non-Islamic practices in the presence of students and Maldivian nationals.
Promoting or preaching any religion other than Islam in Maldives is strictly prohibited by the Maldivian Law.
The penalty for committing this offence is deportation
Expatriate teachers are requested to confine their use of alcoholic drinks to such places where sale of alcoholic drinks are authorized by the government.

All expatriate in the service of this ministry are discouraged from using alcoholic drinks
No alcoholic drinks should be taken in front of the children or Maldivian nationals
No alcoholic drinks should be brought to school premises
No teacher should attend the school or school activities under the influence of alcoholic drinks
Teachers found to be in the above state shall be liable disciplinary action, which may result in termination of service
Teachers must refrain from getting intoxicated in public places
Teachers must not sell alcoholic beverages
PROFESSIONAL DUTIES
Teachers are expected to sign in/out for the daily sessions at times specified by the session. Teachers will be fined for late attendance.
Teachers should work according to the timetable and attend the classes without any delay.
Teachers should attend the relief periods and supervise extracurricular activities when assigned by the school authorities.
Attendance for the subject co-ordination, staff meetings, extracurricular activities, workshops, school functions and parent teacher meeting whether held during or after school hours is COMPULSORY for teachers (MOE).
Application for leave must be made well in advance to enable the supervisor of the teacher to make alternative arrangements
CLASSROOM DUTIES
If a student has to be sent home for any reason (such as medical), permission should be obtained from the Leading Teacher. Also it should be recorded in the school office, and the reason for the student being sent home must be informed the parent.
Teacher should not give preferential treatment to students on the basis of social standing, intellectual ability, or any other such characteristics.
Teachers must encourage students to speak in English in all the periods except Islam, Dhivehi, Arabic and Quran.
