Meeting the needs of the children and their progress should be the utmost concern of the teachers. 

Children who need special attention should be taken care of. 

The teacher being a counsellor of his/her pupil at all times and be just fair by all his/her pupils 

Confidential information regarding pupils should not be revealed to any one other than those who are entitled to receive such information. 

The teacher should refrain from any action that would encourage students to acts of indiscipline and harmony. 

Teachers need to be creative in teaching and tailor their teaching methods to the needs and learning capabilities of their students. 

It is also a prime responsibility of the teacher to discipline students in a manner to correct and prevent them from future misconduct.
