GENERAL DUTIES:
Teachers should not leave the class unattended or unsupervised during the session time.
Teacher should obtain permission from the concerned LT if a student has to be sent home for any reason. Teachers should return all the school belongings in their possession before the annual school holidays.
The classroom should be kept clean.
Teachers should check whether the student bring the required materials according to their timetable. Teachers should keep the students actively involved in the lesson.
Teachers should oversea the students in class to check if the students do the work correctly.
Students should not be sent out of the classroom unless it is urgent.
Identify the week students and students with special needs and help them as much as possible.
Don’t send more than 2 students out in a single period unless it is urgent
Classroom management should be utilized to the maximum.
Teachers should be prepared for the lessons in advance.
Teachers should prepare the scheme of work /unit plan/ lesson plans as per the schedule.
Teachers should prepare detailed weekly plan of lessons for the scheduled week.
Teachers should prepare the necessary learning aids and supplementary materials to make the lessons effective and meaningful.
Teachers should collaborate and participate fully in preparing exam papers, conducting exams, marking the papers, preparing reports under the guidance of the assigned school authorities.
Teachers should also offer their services in activities that help to develop the students in areas apart from studies.
Teachers must uphold dignity and should demonstrate exemplary discipline and live a decent life in the community. Teachers should act professional in social media.
