CLASS TEACHERS’ RESPONSIBILITY
Develop and maintenance of class records with all updates.
Regular attendance making in the class register as well in MEMIS.
Report critical issues of students with regard to health, emotion, academic, behavior, bullying and vandalizing issues to respective leading teachers and the principal.
Report class performance to the school authorities, students’ parents and get their feedback. Inform general instructions to the students and parents.
Lead with the students in making your class as the best class in every aspect of the curriculum.
Establish and update the class reward system.
Develop and display academic charts.
Maintain and renovate classroom display in a conductive manner.
Work hard in developing students for class contexts.
If anything damage of the class, report the issue as soon as possible without delay to the leading teachers as well as principal.
Maintain good rapport with LTs and with the principal in order support students’ higher academic and competencies achievements.
Work with positive attitude with assertive discipline, be a role model in an out of the school.
For expatriate: Use English language to communicate in the school compound. You are not allowed to speak in Dhivehi especially with students for any purpose.
Conduct regular class meeting with parents to support students’ progress.
Provide equal opportunities to all the students in participating extra and co-curricular activities.
Be explore of the latest update of teaching and learning.
Check students’ progress in other subjects and working with the teachers in supporting their learning.
